There are over 60 conferences held each month including: Morning Report, Journal Club, Medical Grand Rounds, Professional Lectures Series, and subspecialty conferences.
The departmental conferences are held every Friday during the Protected Educational Time (PET). PET includes morbidity and mortality statistics review, reproductive endocrinology, maternal fetal medicine, surgical core curriculum, primary gynecology, gynecology/oncology, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery and obstetrics.
In addition, all residents are encouraged to attend a postgraduate course each year with following emphasis: PGY1 –Ultrasound/Fetal Monitoring, PGY2- High Risk Obstetrics, PGY3 –General Gynecology, PGY4 – Course of your choice.
