Our program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. We offer 6 positions for each year of the four-year residency.
Our residents are educated in the full range of obstetric and gynecologic practices including all subspecialties such as high risk obstetric care, pelvic reconstructive surgical procedures, breast surgical procedures, laparoscopic procedures including single port laparoscopy, as well as robotic surgical procedures. For those residents desiring osteopathic board certification upon completion of residency, formal osteopathic education is available.
The strengths of the program include extensive hands on surgical experience under directed supervision as well as management of a wide array of obstetric and gynecologic disorders. By the completion of our residency, the residents become compassionate, competent and highly skilled physicians who acquire a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in all areas of women’s healthcare.
