TeleHealth

Telehealth, also referred to telemedicine, brings medical expertise to patients regardless of physical distance in real time, improving delivery of care and saving lives.

Presence Health has been a leader in developing and providing telehealth services since 2005. The first telehealth initiative, TeleICU, is a comprehensive program where critical care specialists provide lifesaving care remotely from a central location to hospitals across the state. Presence Health has expanded the telehealth initiative to include 17 custom-designed programs to increase access to care improve quality of care, and reduce costs.

These programs utilize proven systems to provide telemedicine in several critical areas of need, including: providing psychiatry and behavioral health services, minimizing the damage caused by strokes, preventing falls and providing support for hospitalized patients and at-risk individuals.

The telehealth program now has more advanced capabilities and experiences than many renowned hospitals across the country, even those typically known as leaders in healthcare IT. This program truly demonstrates commitment to transforming care delivery across the communities we serve.
