Designed to expand the surgeon's capabilities, the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System gives our surgeons a magnified 3-D view inside the body and translates their hand movements into precise micro-movements of specialized instruments. While robotic in nature, the da Vinci® System cannot act on its own; surgery is completely performed by specially trained surgeons who guide robotic arms to replicate their own technique with unprecedented accuracy, flexibility and range of motion using miniaturized surgical instrumentation.
