Michael Englehart - President and CEO

Michael-Englehart.jpgMichael Englehart has nearly 20 years of healthcare experience, including more than a decade at Advocate Health Care.  He was President of Advocate Physician Partners, leading the health care system’s clinically integrated network of nearly 5,000 physicians and 13 hospitals. 

He has a proven track record of developing and implementing transformational strategies, establishing clinical alliances and strategic partnerships and fostering collaboration to create highly integrated models of care.

He has a solid understanding of population health, ACOs ambulatory strategies and the continuing shift to value based care and global capitation.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Northern Illinois University, in DeKalb, Ill., a Master of Business Administration at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Ill., and Master of Arts at Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill. He and his wife, Terri and their four children reside in Palos Heights, Ill.

Sam Bagchi, MD - System Chief Quality and Medical Officer

Bagchi.jpg.pngAs Chief Quality and Medical Officer, Dr. Bagchi drives the clinical and quality strategy and goals of Presence Health by leading initiatives that advance clinical performance and practice standards. He provides leadership and direction to System Quality/Risk, Care Management, Information Services, Telehealth Services, Hospitalists and Emergency Medicine and Clinical Analytics functions. A board certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Bagchi previously served as Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer for Methodist Health System, a seven hospital health system in Texas. He was recruited to Methodist to build a clinical informatics platform and department around the organization’s quality and patient safety initiatives. Dr. Bagchi earned his medical degree from Indiana University and completed the Internal Medicine residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Tabrina Davis, System Leader, Corporate Communications & PR

Tabrina.jpgAs System Leader, Corporate Communications & PR, Tabrina is responsible for the external and internal communications strategy, including issues and crisis management, employee engagement and physician communications. She previously served as Vice President of Communications for ComEd, where she was responsible for the overall communications strategy and corporate reputation. Tabrina has served on the boards of the Public Relations Society of Chicago and the Black Relations Society of Chicago. She’s currently a board member of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and Centers for New Horizons. Tabrina earned her master’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Iowa and her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Illinois State University. 


 David DiLoreto, M.D. – CEO, Presence Health Partners


As Chief Executive Officer for Presence Health Partners, Presence Health’s physician-led clinically integrated payor/accountable care organizations, David DiLoreto, M.D., leads the strategic advancement and development of innovative population health capabilities while also developing critical relationships with payors, providers and other partners.  Dr. DiLoreto joined the organization in 2009 as the first Chief Medical Officer for the former Resurrection Health Care.  In this role, he provided direction to Systemwide improvements in patient safety, risk management, quality and accreditation services. He later became the Chief Clinical Operations and Innovation Officer for Presence Health. Prior to joining Presence Health, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, Florida. He received his doctor of medicine from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and his master’s degree in business administration from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.


Howard Drenth – President & CEO, Presence Medical Group


As Chief Executive Officer for Presence Medical Group, Howard Drenth provides strategic direction and leadership to help shape the culture and vision for Presence Health’s employed medical group.  Howard has more than 15 years of experience as a health system executive.  He joined Presence Health in January 2013 after spending six years at Kettering Health Network in Dayton, Ohio, where he most recently served as Vice President of Physician Services for Kettering’s hospital-owned, multispecialty physician network.  Prior to Kettering, Howard was a Regional Director at BayCare Health System in Florida where he was responsible for operations of a five practice, urgent care, primary care and occupational health organization.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Albion College in Albion, Michigan and his Master’s degree in Management from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He is also a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a member of the American College of Medical Practice Executives and a member of the Medical Group Management Association.


Tony Filer – Chief Financial Officer


As Chief Financial Officer for Presence Health, Tony Filer’s areas of responsibility include finance & accounting, treasury, managed care, revenue cycle, supply chain and real estate. Tony joined legacy Provena Health in 2002 as System Chief Financial Officer (CFO) before becoming the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2011. He most recently served Presence Health as its Chief Ministry Operations Officer. Tony had previously served as Vice President of Operational Finance for Ascension Health, a $17 billion, Catholic health system based in St. Louis, MO. He was the Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Daughters of Charity National Health System in Baltimore, MD; Vice President of Finance for Franciscan Health System of Aston, PA., a 13-hospital system; Vice President of Finance and CFO of St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA; and a senior audit manager for Ernst & Young’s Philadelphia practice office. Tony earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, and is a certified public accountant.


Jeannie Frey – Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel


As Chief Legal Officer for Presence Health, Jeannie Frey oversees legal, compliance, insurance and claims.  She joined legacy Resurrection Health Care in 2004 as Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel and had also served as the organization’s Corporate Secretary.  Previously, she was a partner with law firm McDermott, Will & Emery in Chicago, Illinois. Earlier in her career, she was in private practice in Denver, CO and Washington, D.C., and served as a staff attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission. She is a former Chair of the Nonprofit Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. Jeanne has authored book chapters and other publications on various health law and nonprofit corporation issues. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, she received her law degree from Yale University Law School.


Dougal Hewitt – Chief Officer for Mission and External Affairs


As the Chief Mission and External Affairs Officer for Presence Health, Dougal Hewitt oversees mission, ministry formation, ethics and external affairs. Dougal joined Presence Health in 2013 having come to the organization from Bon Secours Richmond Health System where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Mission. He has more than 22 years of experience in health administration, community outreach and values-based leadership development and formation. Dougal is currently a Ph.D. candidate in community health and architecture at University of Miami, and has a Master of Arts in public administration from University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in modern history and international relations from University of Saint Andrews in Scotland. He also has a certification in ethics from Georgetown University and a certification in integral leadership from University of Notre Dame.

Thomas Koelbl – System Vice President, Human Resources

Koelbl.jpgAs System Vice President, Human Resources, Tom Koelbl is responsible for strategic leadership in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Management, Organizational Effectiveness, HR Operations, Learning & Development, Labor and Employee Relations, Total Rewards and Employee Health.  Tom previously served as Regional Vice President of Human Resources for Banner Health in Arizona where he led human resources operations and was a recognized leader in talent management for human resources staff. He also served as Vice President of Human Resources for 11 years at Swedish American Health System in Rockford, and 13 years at Riverside Health System in Kankakee. Tom earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and his MBA in Human Resources from DePaul University in Chicago. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. 


Kathleen Rhine – Chief Administrative Officer


As Chief Administrative Officer for Presence Health, Kathleen Rhine is responsible for human resources, marketing and external communications, information services, performance improvement, organizational learning and transformation, internal communications and breakthrough improvement. Prior to this position, as Chief Transformation Officer, she was responsible for merger integration, bringing together the Provena Health and Resurrection Health Care systems. She has also served as legacy Resurrection Health Care’s Senior Vice President, Patient and Family Centered Care since 2010. Kathleen previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Administrative Services within the Saint Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, MI. She earned a Bachelor of Science in health planning and administration from Penn State University in University Park, PA and a master’s in business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.


Janelle Reilly – Chief Operating Officer


As Chief Operations Officer/Chief Strategy Officer for Presence Health, Janelle oversees system strategy and operations of the hospital and post acute care divisions. She is responsible for creating and translating innovative strategy into new operating solutions that will transform health care and better serve patients, families and residents. Janelle joined Presence Health in 2012 after serving 25 years with Trinity Health and its predecessor organizations. Most recently she was with Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho serving as Chief Strategy and Accountable Health Network Officer and then previously as the Chief Operations Officer and Interim CEO for Saint Alphonsus Medical Center.  She began her career at Mercy General Health Partners serving in both operations and strategy roles. Janelle received her Master of Arts Degree in Health Administration from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from William Jewell College in Missouri. She is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives and has recently been appointed to the AHA Regional Policy Board 5.
