If you have completed a primary treatment program, had some success in recovery from chemical dependency, but have returned to active alcohol or substance abuse, we can help.
The Relapse Intensive Outpatient Program (RIOP) provides relapse prevention and treatment services, and meets 3 evenings a week for 3-hour group sessions at our Lincoln Park Chicago location.
This program is designed for individuals who have established and maintained recovery, but due to circumstances in their lives have relapsed back into their addictive process.
Understanding what went wrong and addressing these critical issues are important goals of this program.
Our experienced addiction counselors will help you understand warning signs and high-risk situations, and develop management strategies.
The length and level of care varies according to the individual’s needs. The average stay in the RIOP is 6-7 weeks, followed by a year in a Relapse Prevention Continuing Care Group. These group sessions meet once a week for 2 hours.
